I love dogs

I cannot remember a time in my life that I didn't have a dog. I've always loved dogs and I can't imagine my life without my girls. So what a simple answer to the question I asked myself the other day - which was "what should I paint?"

Here is the original photo of Roxie, my in-laws' sweet dog. One of three dogs, I might add. And below it is the painting I did from the photo, just for fun. Well, it will make a great Mother's Day gift as well :)

Kids

Chloe loves gymnastics! We go every week to Open Gym and she's such a crazy kid. She's a huge fan of the trampoline!

This was from Crazy Hair Day at school. It is a curly mohawk. Thankyouverymuch (said like Elvis).

Kieran's artwork was chosen for the Art Show! Can you guess what it is? Hint, the show was titled "you are what you eat".

Our Cub Scout

Kieran graduated from Wolf to Bear in Cub Scouts on Tuesday. He worked very hard for this achievement and we are very proud! Above are some photos from the ceremony, including a group shot of the boys growling like the Bears they are.

A rose

A rose is not my favorite flower by any means, but there was something special about this particular rose. I saw a gorgeous photograph of it and was instantly inspired. Of course I don't see a delicate little creature. I see pools of color, light and dark, depth and even a little turmoil, - all in a little flower.

The next move

Our house is officially on the market and we've got our first Open House on Sunday. So many have asked "Why Colorado?" and above are four of the best reasons I can think of.

Morning Brew

Photos of the girls

She's dreaming of being an Artist, I suppose. What a beautiful body of photographs, taken by my dear friend, Lourdes.
